Andrew completed his Physiotherapy degree in 1999 at LaTrobe Uni. In his early career he held positions at Royal Melbourne, Royal Darwin and Royal London Hospitals developing a broad knowledge base and appreciation of collaborative teamwork. Outside the hospital setting Andrew maintained a passion for musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and sports medicine which lead him to South Melbourne Physio.

Rakesh has over 19 years of Physiotherapy experience after University of Otago in 2001.
Rakesh has furthered his studies in Australia and China, takes a holistic approach in the treatment and management of his clients.

Emma’s special interests lie in the prevention and treatment of sporting injuries and is a nationally endorsed provider of the Netball Australia’s knee program. She also enjoys treating the wide variety of conditions that ‘walk through the door’.

Yomi has a keen interest in sports and has developed his physiotherapy skills through his work with local Australian football clubs, soccer teams,
ice hockey teams and tennis players.

Josie graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Newcastle University in 2018. During her university studies, Josie worked with the Newcastle Jets Football Academy and taught Pilates classes.

Karen has worked as a sports trainer in sporting teams both locally and internationally. She also had the opportunity to work alongside the Stanford University Sports Medicine team in USA during her physiotherapy degree.

Elle graduated from her Master of Physiotherapy at Swinburne University of Technology. Prior, she completed her Bachelor of Health Science at Swinburne.

Elle’s passion for Physiotherapy was sparked by her own experiences with sports injuries. This personal journey not only enhances her empathy but also informs her practice, allowing her to integrate her own recovery insights into patient care.

Liz brings experience gained in marketing, finance and allied health to her role as Practice Manager.
