Emma graduated as a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 2014 after completing a bachelor of Exercise Science in Wollongong 2012. Life as physio started well before graduation, during her undergraduate degree Emma worked as a physio aide in sports clinics, largely driven by a strong sporting background and her own injury struggles through her netball career. Since graduating she has acquired a wide range of experience within different sectors of physiotherapy including hospital, private practice, gyms and sporting clubs. After a 2 year position at a busy, central London sports clinic, Emma developed an interest in Functional Rehab and Pilates.
Emma’s special interests lie in the prevention and treatment of sporting injuries and is a nationally endorsed provider of the Netball Australia’s knee program. She also enjoys treating the wide variety of conditions that ‘walk through the door’. Emma combines her manual therapy skills with an active approach to patient rehab with attention to detail ensuring specific and goal-oriented results. Now as a runner and fitness enthusiast, Emma understands how frustrating injuries can be, and with this she strives to get everyone back on their feet as quick as possible.
Outside of work you can find Emma at F45, down at her local beach or eating her way around Melbourne.
