How We Can Help

Assessment

In order to gain an accurate diagnosis of your shoulder condition on your initial appointment one of the SMPC physiotherapists will run through an assessment of your shoulder injury or pain. This may include testing the movement and strength of your shoulder and other tests to determine the integrity of the various shoulder structures.

Treatment

We will then advise or administer treatment for your shoulder injury or pain based on the diagnosis identified in the initial assessment. The treatment may consist of manual physiotherapy such as joint mobilisation, muscle release, dry needling, remedial massage and more. It may include further investigation into surrounding areas and taping of the shoulder to support it while it heals.

Rehabilitation

One of the experienced SMPC physiotherapists with work with you to come up with an individual exercise plan that you can incorporate into your daily life, whether that be through stand alone exercises, posture corrections, sport or gym exercises in order to strengthen and heal your shoulder to alleviate any future injury or pain.
