Lavinia is a dedicated physiotherapist committed to helping individuals recover from injuries, improve movement, and achieve their goals. Growing up on a broad-acre cropping farm in regional Western Victoria, she developed a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the physical demands of both rural life and sport. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University and has experience across sports, musculoskeletal, and neurological rehabilitation throughout her studies.
As a Victorian Netball League athlete with over five years of experience, Lavinia also understands the demands of high-performance sport and the challenges of injury recovery. Her personal experience with physiotherapy has shaped her approach – focusing on evidence-based treatment, education, and personalised care to empower patients in their rehabilitation journey.
Lavinia is committed to helping patients in returning to activity, improving mobility, and achieving their health and performance goals. Outside the clinic, she enjoys coaching and playing netball, spending time with family, and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Andrew Kantor

Andrew completed his Physiotherapy degree in 1999 at LaTrobe Uni. In his early career he held positions at Royal Melbourne, Royal Darwin and Royal London Hospitals developing a broad knowledge base and appreciation of collaborative teamwork. Outside the hospital setting Andrew maintained a passion for musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and sports medicine which lead him to South Melbourne Physio.

Rakesh has over 19 years of Physiotherapy experience after University of Otago in 2001.
Rakesh has furthered his studies in Australia and China, takes a holistic approach in the treatment and management of his clients.

Emma’s special interests lie in the prevention and treatment of sporting injuries and is a nationally endorsed provider of the Netball Australia’s knee program. She also enjoys treating the wide variety of conditions that ‘walk through the door’.
