Mariah holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in Canada, and has diverse experience from her time practicing in both Canada and Australia. She has worked in various settings, including private practice, home-based rehabilitation, sports clubs, and even had the opportunity of working with the Canadian military.
With expertise in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, Mariah has developed a particular passion for knee, hip, and ankle injuries. She has a keen interest in return-to-sport rehabilitation and post-operative rehabilitation, and has worked closely with marathon runners, footy and netball teams, as well as managing comprehensive ACL rehabilitation. Mariah is also trained in vestibular and dizziness rehabilitation, helping patients regain balance and confidence.
Mariah is a strong advocate for an active, patient-centered approach to rehabilitation, emphasizing the importance of education and empowering her patients. Whether working with elite athletes or weekend warriors, her goal is always to help patients return to the activities they love and live life to the fullest.
A former competitive volleyball player, Mariah remains passionate about staying active, regularly engaging in strength training, running, hiking, and golf. When she’s not working with patients or training, you’ll find her indulging her love for food— she’s always on the lookout for new recipes and restaurants.

Andrew completed his Physiotherapy degree in 1999 at LaTrobe Uni. In his early career he held positions at Royal Melbourne, Royal Darwin and Royal London Hospitals developing a broad knowledge base and appreciation of collaborative teamwork. Outside the hospital setting Andrew maintained a passion for musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and sports medicine which lead him to South Melbourne Physio.

Emma’s special interests lie in the prevention and treatment of sporting injuries and is a nationally endorsed provider of the Netball Australia’s knee program. She also enjoys treating the wide variety of conditions that ‘walk through the door’.
