Hayato graduated from the Doctor of Physiotherapy programme at the University of Melbourne. Throughout his degree, he worked as a sports trainer managing sports injuries at Fitzroy Football Club, Harlequins Rugby Club, and Melbourne Rebels Academy U16-18 team.
Prior to his physiotherapy degree, Hayato completed his Honours in Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of British Columbia in Canada and worked as an architectural designer.
Hayato is passionate about helping people achieve their full potential and reaching their goals. Throughout his life, he has experienced many common sporting and desk job injuries such as low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain to name a few. He understands how limiting these injuries can be to an active lifestyle and wishes to help people get back to their “thing”.
Hayato is an avid kitesurfer and is a partner of a kitesurfing school “The Zu Kite Club” at St Kilda West Beach. He recently competed in the Kiteboarding Australia Freestyle Nationals in Sunshine Coast. He also enjoys playing tennis, basketball, bouldering, hitting the gym, and running.

Andrew completed his Physiotherapy degree in 1999 at LaTrobe Uni. In his early career he held positions at Royal Melbourne, Royal Darwin and Royal London Hospitals developing a broad knowledge base and appreciation of collaborative teamwork. Outside the hospital setting Andrew maintained a passion for musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and sports medicine which lead him to South Melbourne Physio.

Rakesh has over 19 years of Physiotherapy experience after University of Otago in 2001.
Rakesh has furthered his studies in Australia and China, takes a holistic approach in the treatment and management of his clients.

Emma’s special interests lie in the prevention and treatment of sporting injuries and is a nationally endorsed provider of the Netball Australia’s knee program. She also enjoys treating the wide variety of conditions that ‘walk through the door’.
