Following
the completion of her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of
Canberra, Kate has practiced at multiple private cinics in both the ACT
and Victoria, as well as with various sporting teams and clubs. Her
dedication to ongoing professional development sees kate currently
completing her Master of Sports Physiotherapy at Melbourne University as
she continually strives to offer up-to-date treatments and advice to
her patients.
As well as sports injury rehabilitation, Kate uses a
range of manual and movement therapies to treat a wide range of
musculoskeletal injuries. Kate firmly believes that physiotherapy isn't
just about 'fixing injuries' and with her vast knowledge in health and
fitness, she has a special interest in preventative therapies, such as
athlete strength and conditioning, Pilates and fine-tuning the way you
move.
She also has a special interest in lower back and pelvic
conditions which has stemmed from her personal interest in equestrian
sports.
Kate is available for sports coverage work as well as guidance and the implementation of occupational exercise programs.
